Hey folks. Just a quick explanation of the economics surrounding our film THE FIRST SATURDAY IN MAY. . . . .

We have met many great folks while selling the DVD at various racetracks. A common response from a few of you who don’t want to carry the DVD around all day explain to us “I’ll wait for it to come to a theatre in my town” or “I’ll get it at Blockbuster.” That is not going to happen in the foreseeable future. We know that for we are the guys that make that decision.

When you make a distribution deal with a big company, you get a small advance up front. However, you have just turned over most of the ownership of the product to them. The sale of this DVD is our opportunity to recoup the $1 million dollars sunk into this film by our investors. Making our website the exclusive outlet for DVD sales gives us the chance to do so.

To those of you who have helped the cause to date, we thank you. Word of mouth has been great. But we don’t have the millions in advertising that IRON MAN and INDIANA JONES have in their corner.
